Rise of the TMNT: Ninja Run from the outset had extremely lofty goals for an endless runner. Nickelodeon wanted an endless runner that broke the norms of the genre, and delivered something unique and enjoyable for teens, as well as kids.

With that in mind, we went crazy – wall running, wall breaking, multiple lanes, loads of verticality, twists, turns, minigames, swapping turtles mid run… it was intense.

Working with our awesome programmers, I re-imagined our entire level design process. We wrote systems immensely more sophisticated and user friendly than what we had before. This system has been the foundation of all of the company’s future endless runners.
